No Smoking Day

On the occasion of “No Smoking Day” which is celebrated on 2nd Wednesday of march every year , Index Institute of Dental Sciences organised a dental camp at village ‘Pedmi’ under the guidance of Dr Ranjan Mani tripathi and Dr Poonam Tomar Rana from Department of Public Health Dentistry with their interns. The patients were counseled and motivated to quit smoking and educated about the detrimental effects of smoking on their health at the Tobacco Cessation Centre of the institute.
